Amazon Fire Phone did not silent when I answer a phone call

Which playing youtube video, my Amazon Fire Phone, I click answered but the music audio youtube video did not pause or go silent. I think this is another flaw on Amazon Fire Phone. This should be standard functionality, as like other OS such as Android and IOS have this feature where when playing a video on youtube or music app, if you answer the phone call, the player or audio will go silent or pause. This is by default. Now I think I know why a lot of tech people don’t recommend this phone, Read more […]

My family van car got robbed and trashed inside the van

Well it wasn’t too bad, but the last time this occurred was about 5 to 6 years ago to my wife’s brother car parked on the street. This is a new home development area, and I’ve been here about 6 years and this is the second time I’ve encountered this incident, this time directly with my family car van. I woke up this morning, open the garage, went into the van to start the car and immediately I noticed paper work and car manual were scattered everywhere in the van, even in the back seats. Then Read more […]

A week into using my Amazon Fire phone

First of all, I would like to share my purchasing experience from Ebay. A seller sold these Amazon phones for $110 with Amazon Prime one year extension or new account. Well, it didn’t work. I got the Amazon Fire Phone from them, registered it and expect to see my Amazon prime updated to additional year, but nope, didn’t work. I contacted the ebay seller, and I got a generic message indicated that they sold thousands of these phones and amazon prime all of a sudden terminated the contract or whatever Read more […]

Got $6 eBay Bucks Certificate

Just got $6 eBay Bucks Certificate, and I suggest using it right away! immediately! because these certificate from ebay bucks will expire and sooner than you think. Chances are you may forget, and they will never ever issue you a new one, ever! It had happened to me that they issued me a good $20 eBay Buck certificate to use, but I forgot about it and it’s gone. I tried to contact Ebay for a replacement one, but they said “no” no mercy, since that listed clearly under their Terms of Service agreement Read more […]

I think Amazon Fire TV stick is better than the Google Chromecast

I have Google Chromecast, actually two, and it’s been serving me well. A crash here and there, but I think it’s just some glitch. I’ve watched Google Movie with it, and everything else on youtube, it’s awesome. The only problem is, it doesn’t have Amazon Prime Videos as one of its compatible apps. However on the other hand, the Amazon Fire TV stick appears to have youtube and and everything else including Amazon Prime videos apps that broadcast on it. Yeah sure, google Chromecast can broadcast Read more […]

Fire phone texting messages with link not clickable to browser?

Another issue that I’ve encountered with the Fire Phone is, when I received a message with a hyperlink such as tracking # from USPS or something, I was to click on it, and it will bring me to usps website with tracking status. However with the Fire Phone texting, it doesn’t work. Maybe because I don’t know how to use, it’s my third day using it. This should be standard features, I shouldn’t need to set anything up for it to work properly. Wondering if anyone encountered this issue. I tried googling Read more […]

Fire Phone Alarm and Timer clock is not intuitive

So I purchased a couple of Amazon Fire Phone, and tested it out. The one thing that used the most is the clock timer and alarm. Android phone I used to have was an old HTC Aspire if recalled correctly. The alarm clock I was able to label it as “Wake” “Go to school” etc. for that particular alarm setting. On the Fire Phone Alarm I could not, it will allow multiple time setup but not what that particular time alarm is for. Android phone I used to have timer after it’s completed the timer setting, Read more […]

Anyone ordered delivered water to your front door and have a bunch of empty bottle lying around?

I’m just wondering if I’m the only one whom have a bunch of empty water bottle lying around because I kept on forgetting to return the empty bottle back to the water delivering company LOL 🙂 At the beginning, these companies sent a schedule date of your delivery, and they’re mostly ontime and I need to leave the empty bottle for them to pick up. Well, I kept of forgetting the delivering date. Now they went high-tech and sent the delivery notice via email, that help a little bit, but not much. Read more […]
