Two-factor authentication (2FA) is now available for all BlockFi accounts! You can set up 2FA on your BlockFi account using the Google Authenticator app, available on Android and iOS mobile devices. We urge all account holders to enable 2FA on their accounts. You can read more about the 2FA setup process on our blog.

Over $53M in Client Crypto Now Stored at BlockFi
Interest payment day is upon us once again. Over $53 million in clients’ crypto will receive interest on May 1. The best part? We recently announced that we’re retroactively lowering the minimum balance to earn interest from 1 BTC to 0.5 BTC. After month-end, earned interest for April will be available BlockFi client dashboards and in your account transaction history.
Here are the updates we announced last week:
We are retroactively dropping the minimum required BTC balance to earn interest to 0.5 BTC. If you maintained a balance of 0.5 BTC starting April 1st, interest for the month will be applied to your account.
Based on market changes, ETH deposits up to 250 ETH will earn 6.2% APY. Everything above that will earn 2% APY.
BlockFi now serves India! We’ve seen great demand from the country and are excited to offer our services in over 65 countries.
