Just want to give a shout out to Walmart Synchrony Bank customer service through online messaging, solved my issue.
What happened was I took advantage of the 6 or 12 months no interest charge for purchase with my Walmart Master Card but the certificate was not printable at the time, and I didn’t have time to call or chat with customer service so I went to the store and purchase the item (2 laptops by the way total $1000), at Walmart cashier I ask them about the promotional offer with no interest, they said they don’t know, they only go by coupon code barcode to scan, cashier told me to go to customer service and talk to manager, well I got no time for that so I purchased with my Walmart Master Card and left.
Two weeks later I went back into my Walmart Credit card online service Synchrony Bank and see if promotional no interest was automatically applied, and no it wasn’t. So I tried chat feature but that not helping because it’s just a robot, so I decided to send a message to customer service. A day later I got a respond back and they said they will applied the 6 12 months no interest for me within 24/48 hours. I’m like wow just like that. Well I will update this post if that didn’t happen, if I don’t update this post, then they did applied the 6/12 months promotional offer no interest.
The bottom line is be polite, it doesn’t hurt to say Hi, how are you? Sorry to bother you, thank you for your time and consideration and so on. Those polite words can go a long way, just don’t be polite in a way that gave sign of being fake. Keep it simple polite, the other end, customer service we don’t know who they are, and what access they have, could be a leader, manager, or just a call center, but they may have power to enable or disable certain features, so be nice and polite, again it doesn’t hurt to say nice words, people will help you out.
By the way the laptop I bought was a touch screen that fold all the way back to become a tablet, my kids love it so far and hope it will last 1-2 years or more, they can play all kind of games but some hardcore game that required intense graphics card or RAM it’s lagging for them. It’s this laptop “HP Pavilion 15-cr0037wm X360, 15.6″ FHD Touschscreen, Intel i3-8130U, 4GB RAM, 16GB SSD, 1TB HDD, WIN 10” with Free Pen “stylus” that cost $100 alone.
