Introducing Overdraft RewindOn November 7, 2017, we introduced a new, automatic feature that may help you avoid overdraft fees. It’s called Overdraft Rewind.
No action required for direct deposit customers
This is a free, automatic benefit for accounts enrolled in direct deposit. Direct deposit is the electronic deposit of your salary, pension, Social Security, or other regular monthly income electronically deposited through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network by your employer or an outside agency. How it works
With Overdraft Rewind, we will use electronic direct deposits received by 9:00 am local time to reevaluate your transactions from the previous business day.We will calculate a new balance (which includes the direct deposit less any pending debits) to reevaluate transactions from the previous business day, pay transactions that could have been covered by your direct deposit, and waive Wells Fargo overdraft or non-sufficient funds fees that would have been charged.
Visit the Overdraft Rewind page for more details about this new benefit.
Thank you for banking with Wells Fargo.
