A Letter from Our CEO
Over the years, I’ve witnessed the Bitcoin ecosystem experience many ups and downs. Through all of the challenges and breakthroughs, one thing has stayed true: you and the safety of your funds are our top priority.

Later this month, the Bitcoin network will experience a hard fork aimed at increasing network capacity. Our team is working around the clock to ensure that our platform is ready for anything that comes our way. You can learn more about the fork here.

Please know that even during this time of uncertainty, your funds are safe.

To ensure they remain safe while the network is in transition, we will temporarily suspend bitcoin send, request, buy, sell, and exchange functionality roughly 12 to 24 hours before the time of the fork until the network stabilizes.

We’ll be keeping you updated every step of the way at blockchain-status.com. And our industry-leading support team is prepared, as always, to answer questions about your Blockchain wallet at support.blockchain.com.

I firmly believe the current financial system is antiquated and inaccessible for far too many citizens around the globe.
