After watching America Got Talent (AGT) last night, I don’t really know who to vote for as the best since half of them gave outstanding performance. It is also difficult to vote for the best because of each act are different; there are mixture/variety of talent from all over the world, that is why it’s so difficult to vote for the best.
To me, I will go with my own guts and say the South Korea dance team “Just Jerk” have a chance, then the girl with the muppet singing so call ventriloquist. Talking about ventriloquist, if we search on google now as I’m writing this blog; the search term “ventriloquist” will bring us to “Ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer” that is how popular she is now. Well done!
Just in case anyone have Verizon Fios TV, they’re giving away free On Demand Movies TV shows and more, including some of the premium channels will be made available to watch all day long starting tomorrow Friday October 16th to Sunday October 19th 11:59PM 🙂
Verizon Fios internet is awesome, I’m pretty sure their TV services also. I do have it, the only thing is I have pay for the Set Top Box monthly rental and only support one TV, so if you have more than one TV, you may need to rent more than one set top box. Once in a while, for some channels, there’s a quick glitch or somekind of distortion both the audio and videos, it’s like a CD skipping when hitting a bump on the road.
I’ve took advantage of this before, and what really work for me was those premium channels. As for the on demand, not too many free movies selections, hopefully it’s different this time. Will see.
I think there is a flaw to this movie “The Martian”. During the movie, the question I asked was, how does those potatoes survived the original trip from Earth to Mars? stayed fresh and raw and was able to root and grow.
So I’m home now and I went online to Google and research about it and it appears that potatoes will stay fresh for a maximum of 4 months with the right temperature and storage area. So how did NASA able to store the potatoes stay raw and fresh, and was able to re-grow? I’m thinking it might be possible, but I’m seeing those potatoes in the movie as raw and fresh like you just bought from the groceries market.
Maybe it’s like milk. Milk have a date stamp of must use by, or must sell by, but the truth is with the right temperature storage, then it could last several weeks after that date. So if we use the same concept as when the milk was bottled to the time of the date stamped and to the date it will actually go bad storing with the best most optimized environment it would double the amount of time. So I think it’s possible for those potatoes from the movie “The Martian” to last that long.
